Your collection stays yours.

Manalith is a hobby project by Yvan Yssakoff (No Frown Software). You don’t need a Manalith account, and your collection lives on your own device.

On your device, not my server

Your cards, quantities, purchase prices, transactions, notes, decks, wishlists and storage locations are stored locally. So are your preferences, downloaded catalogues and cached artwork. Manalith doesn’t upload your collection database to a Yvan Yssakoff (No Frown Software) server.

If you use a cloud or backup service that syncs your Documents folder or exported backups, it may copy those files according to your settings. Manalith doesn’t control that.

What happens when you go online

Manalith uses external services for card information, artwork, prices, sealed-product catalogues and exchange rates. Some requests happen automatically, such as price refreshes at startup or artwork loading while you browse.

Those services receive your IP address and normal connection information. A request may also include a search term, set ID or card ID—for example, when refreshing a card’s price. That isn’t the same as uploading your whole collection database.

Providers include Scryfall, TCGdex, YGOPRODeck, ArkhamDB and other game-data and artwork services. Their own privacy policies apply to those requests.

Once downloaded, catalogues and artwork can be browsed offline. Fetching new information needs an internet connection.

No trackers tucked into the app

The current desktop app has no advertising trackers, usage analytics or automatic crash-report uploads to Yvan Yssakoff (No Frown Software).

Your backups, your choice

You can back up and restore your collection in the app. Backups contain your collection information, so keep them somewhere safe and be careful about sharing them.

Uninstalling may leave collection files, preferences, cached artwork and backups behind. To remove everything, delete those files and any copies in your cloud or backup services.

A note about the password lock

The optional app lock stores passwords locally as salted hashes, not plain text. It limits access through the app, but doesn’t encrypt your database or backups. I can’t recover a forgotten password, so keep your device and backup files protected.

Links and optional donations

Marketplace links, sales-history sites and Ko-fi take you to external services. Anything you share there, including payment or donation details, is covered by their privacy policies.
