A few simple ground rules.

Manalith is a closed-source hobby project by Yvan Yssakoff (No Frown Software), made for the love of collecting. It’s free for personal use, with no subscription or paid feature tiers.

Enjoy it for your own collection

You’re welcome to download, install and use Manalith on devices you own or control, and make private backup copies of the app. Managing your own collection includes recording your personal purchases and sales.

This is a personal, non-commercial licence to use the app, not to transfer or sublicense it. For business use, please get written permission first: contact@getmanalith.com.

Share the link, not the app

If you like Manalith, please recommend it and share the official website. Please don’t redistribute, upload, mirror or rehost the app, sell or rent it, bundle it commercially, or distribute modified or repackaged versions without prior written permission. Don’t remove or misrepresent its ownership notices.

Your collection is yours

You keep ownership of your collection records and original content. Manalith’s original code, interface, branding and accompanying materials belong to Yvan Yssakoff (No Frown Software). The app is licensed to you, not sold, and rights not granted here are reserved. Being free to use doesn’t make it open source.

A thank-you to the projects behind it

Manalith is built with help from open-source software, including Electron, React and React DOM (MIT Licence), and canvas-confetti (ISC Licence). Chromium, Node.js and their dependencies have their own licences and notices.

Those components belong to their respective owners and keep their own licence terms, which take precedence for the components they cover. The bundled LICENSE.electron.txt and LICENSES.chromium.html files contain further acknowledgements; they don’t make Manalith’s original code open source.

Fonts also keep their own licences. Using a font installed on your device doesn’t grant extra rights to it. This website uses Pirata One by Rodrigo Fuenzalida and Nicolas Massi under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1, served locally with its original notices.

The games belong to their creators

Card artwork, text, game names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. Manalith is independent and isn’t affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by those publishers or rights holders unless expressly stated.

This licence doesn’t grant rights to reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit game content. Catalogue, artwork and pricing providers may have their own terms too.

A hobby project, with care

I put care into Manalith, but bugs happen and external services can change. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties to the extent allowed by law. I can’t promise error-free operation, compatibility with every system, or accurate and always-available prices and other external data.

Please keep independent backups and double-check important information. To the extent allowed by law, Yvan Yssakoff (No Frown Software) isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or profits. Nothing here takes away mandatory consumer rights or limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

These ground rules don’t override rights you have under applicable law or the separate licences for third-party components.
